International Sound Travel

At the core of this experimental and more spontaneous project were the questions: can sounds define new spaces, what does hearing outside sounds in tiny spaces look like and can we create multiple spaces within one space through sounds. Using sounds from nature and from the city, we aimed to travel in different landscape through sounds, blur the boundary between the inside and the outside and thus bring the outside to life where voices of humans and non-humans were entangled. In the form of a performance, we explored the acoustic space and sound reflection using sound showers, plexiglas and cardboard tubes to play with distance between sound source and sound perception.
