Come and Hug me
This is an experimental work about the touch crisis. It is a body exploration made during lockdow, in the context of the coronavirus Pandemic where touch is no longer given, where our skins have to avoid each other. I am wondering how do we live with that? How do we find a solution to get closer again? How would human evolve in the future to enable to find a way to touch each other? Can we gain truthful intimate touch as a subject?
I have intended to emphasize on how touch is important and how even in extreme situations, society can construct playful and new ways to keep contact and connection between bodies.
The pillow outfit allows us to interact with each other in a playful way and by so, low the boundaries while keeping our intimacy. It is an invitation to contact and interaction. It invites us to play with others and get closer.

Observation
At the core of my project is the notion of attention to enhance relationship between Humans and Plants. The Methodology of observation is a doorway to drive attention to plant and build appreciation. As a glimpse of my concept and to celebrate plants, I invite you through a digital contemplation.
Design Probes
As part of my project, I created a remote engagement with few people to test the observation methodology.
You will find the guidance I provided below.
If you have a plant and a chair nearby, I would like to invite you to sit in front of your plant and observe it during 5 minutes to experience the methodology of observation at the core of my project.
Hybrid Pots
Drawing upon this methodology, as well as key findings on the opportunity for hearing sense in enhancing relationship with plants, I have developed concepts of hybrid pots.
This video shows the use of the object in the domestic context and gives you an overview of the sound experience. The sounds are inspired by the ultrasounds plants actually make.
Home Degree Project
This year conditions have been particular and I would like to share with you how my workshop looked like from home.
As you won't be able to experience my project physically, I displayed and recorded an exhibition in my bedroom (yes I've empty almost all my bedroom...).
Hope you can experience and enjoy it digitally through this performance video.
